BUU Department of International Cooperation and Exchange

BUU values international cooperation and exchange from the very beginning, and has established friendship relations with more than 30 universities and research institutions in nearly 20 countries and areas around the world. Over 150 teachers are sent to countries like the UK, the USA, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. for academic exchange and training purposes.

BUU participates in the international conferences hold by the related universities and organizations, exchanging teaching concepts and management experiences. Most of the conferences are global-renowned, like 2006 Trilateral International Symposium between China, Korea and US, International Conference for Beijing Studies, Academic Forum for Experts on Special Education, etc.

In addition, BUU employs a number of foreign experts and teachers every year. The introduction of foreign experts and teachers brings advanced teaching principles and methodology which make BUU more international. Further, textbooks are no longer confined to the regulated ones.

Recruitment of international students is also highlighted at BUU. Over 1,200 students from 20 countries and regions enroll at BUU each year, which makes BUU one of the top universities in this respect. By September 2006, over 100 undergraduate international students are currently studying at BUU. After graduation, some of the undergraduates continue their postgraduate studies in China and some choose to work in famous enterprises. They are taking the excellence of BUU education to every corner of the world.
